Road Trip
Today we are about 40 miles south of Isla de la Piedra, on the coast west of El Rosario with our friends Bob & Marjorie and we are setting up for a picnic on the beach. Beautiful sunny day, huge surf and as we are winding up our feast on the beach a pod of Dolphins comes by and puts on a great show for us.
Continuing on our drive, we travel east towards the small town El Rosario. This is a huge farming area and as we drive the main road we see hundreds of green Poblano peppers laying on the roadside. They have fallen off the trucks on their way from the field to the packing plants.
Strangely, the church in El Rosario is closed when we get there. Strange because in Mexico churches are always open. Maybe it’s because of the reported gold leaf interior in this one.
And finally, how could you have a day in Mazatlan without and amazing sunset?
