Looks Like Snow

We were downtown stocking up on groceries yesterday. We even took the truck so you know we were serious. We’re walking through Mega and I see the display of snow shovels and brooms. Or at least that’s what I thought of. Last saturday I saw a diplay of  toques. The toques I can maybe understand, after all I am Canadian eh? But the snow shovels? Really both strange things to see in a climate where it apparently never drops below 50F.

Oh, the shovels and brooms are for sand and dust. Now that makes sense. Maybe now I better go back and check out the toque display again. Maybe first one more margarita.

Speaking of Margaritas, George, the owner of the margarita maker we talked about and wife Gail leave us today for their boat awaiting them at Lake Havasu.

Our loss, Lake Havasu’s gain. Have fun guys. See you next year.

For those keeping track, at 7 in the morning it’s 20C (high 60’s) and cloudy this morning. I know this is silly, but it almost feels cold with out the strong bright sun. The forecast calls for a chance of showers for the next 2 or 3 days. Highs though, will still be in the 80’s. OK, they weren’t snow shovels.

Since I published this blog I’ve learned how to add video to my blog. Here’s George working his Margarita Maker at his Monday night Margarita party.

Rick You’re going to ask my son Jason that question. I’m afraid of heights so we know it wasn’t me.
