OK, my goof. the beach bar we talked about yesterday isn’t called the Soggy Taco and that’s probably just as well. It is called the Soggy Peso and it is a great feet in the sand kind of bar.

I would certainly recomend the beer and the Sashimi Scallops and Crabs Claws are to die for.

It was warm 30C (high 80sF) and windy, so lots of Kite surfing and kite boarding

We’ve talked before about Mike & Terri Church’s Book. Anybody who RV’s in Mexico considers their publications to be the “Bible”. In fact it’s hard to find any Gringo who’s ever been near a Mexican RV park who doesn’t quote the Church’s regularily.
So way back in June I ordered their new edition. Today, there it was in all it’s glory in our mailbox.

Boy, am I excited to see this book. And now look at the motorhome on the cover. Look familiar? Look at all like this one?

Hell yes, I’d say. Is that a personal invite or what?
Hang on Amigo’s, we’ll be there soon. Not soon enough but soon.

I’ve always loved this photo. We spent the winter of 2001/2002 in the Baja Peninsula area of Mexico. One day we are out for a drive in the desert, in four wheel drive, miles from nowwhere and we come across this street sign. It says “Off Beaten Path”
Gringo humor, we’re the best!
